Study of I/O Data Trigger Mode in DeviceNet

Producer/consumer network model is the latest networking technology which can implement multicast function. Based on this model, DeviceNet provides manifold I/O data trigger modes, such as bit-strobe, poll, change-of-status (COS)/cyclic, and can construct master/slave, multi-master and peer-to-peer network architecture. The communication characteristics of producer/consumer network model was introduced, and communication mechanisms of bit-strobe, poll, change-of-state (COS)/cyclic I/O data trigger modes were analyzed.
