Application and Analysis of C4.5 Algorithm

C4.5 algorithm is a classic and used widely decision-tree-based data-mining algorithm.However,an analysis of the decision tree and its relevant algorithm of ID3 have indicated that there are some problems in the technique.An example of the application of the C4.5 algorithm in teaching is given to explain the process of data mining and analyze the mining results.Finally,this paper discusses the future direction of the research.
