Factors Effected Irrigation Performance in Level Border Irrigation

By application of laser controlled land leveling techniques, factors effected irrigation performance in level border irrigation are studied with field experiments. Research results are analyzed and evaluated in this paper. The suitable combination of these factors is presented according to the field evaluations. The results show that the irrigation performance of level border system could be improved by the precision land leveling, reasonable land slope and dimension of the border, suitable inflow rates into!the border and good irrigation managements in field level.
