A Management Model and the Application in Telecom Network Resources

Various resources in telecommunication networks are possessed of different characteristics. Common and essential characteristics of various resources are abstracted and a concept of virtual resource class (VRC) is provided. A resource management model is established by regarding a certain class of resources as sub class of VRC. Based on the model, a universal implementation method of the management system, which is of excellent extensibility, is proposed by providing a medial-layer between actual resources and the management system. Finally, the application is introduced.
