Application of artificial neural network in the prediction of variation of ground water

In this paper, the artificial neural network is applied in the simulation and the prediction of the variation of ground water levels. Its result is comparsed with the result of the grey-periodic extensional combinatorial prediction model and the generation method of data processing, which indicates this method overcomes the defects of the traditional mathematic methods and model with lower accuracy. Its a easy ,practical method with high accuracy and can be used widely in the simulation and the prediction of the variation of ground water levels and some related aspects.
