Method for Estimation of Time Difference of Arrival Based on Spectral Correlation Characteristics

The environment of radio reconnaissance is signal-intensive,and multiple signals may come into the bandwidth range of receiver simultaneously,many of which are cyclostationary ones.The spectral correlation of cyclostationary signals has signal selection capability.Based on the spectral correlation of cyclostationary signals,the paper studies a method of time difference of arrival(TDOA)estimation.Theoretical research and computer simulation indicate that the new method can achieve exact TDOA estimation of each signal in the environment of multiple signals.Compared with general cross correlation method,it has better anti-jamming capability.
