Study on the Combining Ability Sucrose Trait in Super-sweet Corn

A set of combination involving seven inbred lines of super-sweet corn,according to the complete diallel crossing of Griffing Method 1,was made to study the effect of combining ability of four sucrose trait in super-sweet corn kernel.The results indicated that the inheritance of sucrose trait was controlled by additive genes and non-additive genes; The difference of general combining ability effect among parents and special combining ability effect among combination and its variation range was high.
