An improved post-processing deblocking algorithm and its hardware implementation

An improved post-processing deblocking filter algorithm with the unit of block boundary is presented based on the feature of human visual system(HVS).The result shows that it can earn better visual effect with less hardware sources.Besides,the corresponding hardware architecture with less memory and high performance is also presented,which can meet the speed of real-time H.264 decoding in the simulation.
