Study on Development of Delay/Disruption-tolerant Network

As an emerging network architecture,Delay/Disruption Tolerant Network(DTN) is gready different from the traditional network model.It is characteristic of long delay,frequent disruptions and no end-to-end path etc.Firstly,investigations in this field are summarized,and the architecture of DTN is analyzed.Then,researches and solutions for network protocol,routing and security mechanism are described with some open and challenging issues presented.Lasdy,applications of DTN in fields such as space networking,military tactical networking etc are introduced to show the importance of DTN in future communication networks.
