This paper first introduces the multicast QoS routing problems, and then proposes a novel QoS-based multicast routing algorithm based on the chaotic optimization and the genetic algorithm(GA).The integration of chaotic sequence and genetic algorithm with a new coding scheme and self-adaptive mutation operator is developed, which can overcome premature and increase the convergence speed. The simulation results show that the proposed chaotic genetic algorithm outperforms the traditional GA in terms of both solution accuracy and convergence speed.
