Testing and analyses of acoustic transducers in aluminum tube and PVC tube have proved that the newly developed radial polarized transmitting transducer can replace the former expensive tangential polarized one. Experiments show that performance of acoustic receiver transducer influences on acoustic wavetrain extremely. By contrast, thin shell cylindrical receiving transducer is the best one and suitable to full wavetrain acoustic logging tools. A few of advice on improving full wavetrains in long spaced acousticlog tool of 3700 series has been given.
