Marine geophysics has a very important role in the field of national security,mainly for the coast defense and marine geological hazard warning.By theglobal,sophisticated,real-timemonitoring of the marine geophysical environment,early detection and timely warning,protecting national security.In peacetime,it can awake national consciousness of the ocean and establish marine planning.Bulid up detailed geophysical field data and basic map of China Sea as soon as possible,and update timely,develop proprietary marine geophysical monitoring equipment,laid the marine geophysical monitoring network in coastal zone,islands and underwater,can provide a reliable basis for the decision-making in protecting national security.
