A Method to Stochastically Estimate Voltage Sag Sensitivity of Sensitive Equipments

By means of characterizing the randomicity of voltage-tolerance curve of load by normal distribution probability density function,a stochastic model for voltage-tolerance curve and voltage sensitivity of voltage-sensitive load is established;and a stochastic estimation method for voltage sag sensitivity of voltage-sensitive load is proposed in which the sensitivity is estimated by cumulative summation,therefore the division of sensitivity rank is avoided. By use of Matlab the voltage sag sensitivity of sensitive load is estimated. The estimation results are contrasted with the measured results of 11 personal computers,thus the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method are validated.
