DSP Implementation Depending on Combination of TCM and Adaptive Decision Feedback Equalizers

The principle of Trellis Coded Modulation is introduced, the method of combination of TCM and adaptive training periodically decision feedback equalizers comparing with linear equalizers is given, and a computer simulation of the performance of the system over AWGN channel is presented, and the viterbi decoding of TCM with TMS320 VC33 is implemented. The results show that decision feedback equalizers have better performance than linear equalizers and it makes high speed data transmit over band limited channel.
