Joint Congestion and Contention Control Algorithm Based on Price

A method for cross-layer optimization by joining congestion control and contention control is proposed,which aims to cut down the time delay of multicast streaming.The network utility maximization model is set up,and by using pricing mechanism based on effect,the distributed algorithm based on price is obtained with technique of Lagrange dual decomposition.The congestion and contention controls are carried out by using this algorithm.Simulation experimental results show it is feasible.
