OLAP framework based on grid

OLAP(On-Line Analytical Processing) is a popular technique for data analysis.At present,nearly all OLAP systems are client/server based or browse/server based.The systems are unable to share distributed resources on network,which handicap use of OLAP.But,emergence of Grid could solve these problems.An OLAP framework based on grid was proposed,and services in this globus-based framework were described.This framework integrated grid-computing with OLAP.It could accelerate process of large-scale and parallel OLAP applications,and further could develop applications and services on grid.
