Service Development Studio is a development environment based on Eclipse platform.As IMS networks have not yet been fully laid for the moment,SDS provides developers with a platform of development,testing and simulation of new business.It can provide server containers,protocol stack,IMS core network,and a variety of simulators,which provides great convenience for developers to develop new services.This paper is with a focus on using SDS on Ericsson IMS Client-side development,describing the frame of ICP,the process of IMS Client development and APIs.Simulations of the WindowsClient on PC is performed and implementation of new service is validated..
