Improved concept similarity computation

Ontology can express definitely and formally all kinds of concepts and relations between them,so it plays an important role in similarity computation. To improve the results and make use of the relations in ontology and the characters when similarity computation is applied in some domain,an improved similarity computation model is proposed. This method used subsumption relations to compute similarity,and non-subsumption relations for relevance. Then it compounded them and considered the asymmetry simultaneously which is the character when similarity computation is applied in semantic retrieval. It is proved that this approach is effective and precise.
