System structure of mining-map designing system based on GIS

The paper analyzes the recent condition of mine mapping software existing home and abroad, and then put forward the theory and technical method of mine mapping design based on GIS. In the following, the author expounds the concept and the structure of the mine mapping design system. The concept comprises of building the spatial data model and data structure special for mine, objecting of spatial vector、OD(object-oriented Design) method、ADO and WEB technology based on C/S.
