Radar Echo Signal Emulation Based on Electronic Sea Chart

The emulation of radar echo-signal is the base of radar simulation display.Scan Data Table and Scan Map Data Table were proposed and then come to be established.On the basis of them and the elevation information of electronic sea chart,a radar echo-signal emulation algorithm was given.Then,the radar echo signal was simulated successfully,the blocking effects of electromagnetic waves and the effects of radar beam on radar echo signals could be emulated.These tables and the method involved have been applied for emulating the radar echo signals of one radar simulator,whose effectiveness has also been indeed proved in the way of conventional PC computer emulation.
