Mismatch and Estimation of SNR in the Iterative Decoding of Turbo Decoding

Based on analyzed the sensitivity of the Turbo decoder performance to misestimate the signaltonoise ratio of channel (SNR),we verified the directly relationship between the iterative decoding of Turbo decoding and esstimation of SNR.This paper presented a method of selfadaptive estimating SNR of BCJR decoding algorithm of Turbo code.The selfadaptive SNR estimator has a good tracking performance with a simpler calculation.The resulte of Matlab simulation shows that the selfadaptive SNR estimator has excellence convergence for low SNR and performace will be better on a fading channel.
