Compilation of Chinese TeX Text Files by Use of CJK Packages

CJK is a LaTeX macro package used to deal with Asian fonts such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai. LaTeX is an outstanding typesetting system. In this paper, we show the principle of LaTeX compilation of Chinese fonts and introduce how to write a Chinese TeX text file by use of the format of the package, in order that latex (or pdflatex) directly compiles the TeX file into a dvi (or pdf) file. Also, the installation of Chinese TrueType fonts is described.
