The model of source-specific multicast based on IGMPv3 and PIM-SSM is described.By experiments on networks,the working process of source-specific multicast based on IGMPv3 and PIM-SSM is analyzed;the conlusion that source-specific multicast and any source multicast could cooperate well together is obtained.Finally the advantages and disadvantages of Source-specific Multicast is discussed.
