Research of user documents testing technology

User documents are necessary parts of a software product, and will be delivered to users together with the software products. Nevertheless, engineering approaches that assure the quality of user documents are very few. Due to the requirements of developing large-scale software products, methods for guaranteeing the quality of user documents become the study target so as that the concept of document test is put forward. Different types of Bugs in previous testing on user documents were analyzed. Based on the analysis, testing strategies, testing principles and testing task assigning methods were summarized. Moreover, seven efficient technologies for user documents testing were presented.
