Design of Automotive Collision Avoidance Radar Based on DSP

This paper introduced the design method of the hardware and software for the automotive collision avoidance based on TMS320VC5402.It described the principle of the system in detail.Millimeter-wave radar received and transmitted the signal,DSP processed the digital signal.This system used two mixed programming languages and LMS algorithm,raising the speed of operation and accuracy of detecting effectively.It is ready for the alarm when finding target.Experiments show the system is stable.It can lower the rate of accident,meeting the need of real-time and accuracy requirement of the system.
