The research progress in Pb-C ultrabattery in recent years was reviewed.Effects of the carbon materials on the cycle performance of Pb-C ultrabattery were discussed,the reasons which restricted its performance improving by sulphation of negative plate were analyzed.The environmental significance and application prospects of Pb-C ultrabattery were analyzed.
