Reliable Real-Time Stream-Media Communication Based on FEC/ARQ

Based on the research of reliable multicast communication, it applies the error correction technology to the stream\|media communication according to its characters especially its communication protocol and raises a reliable real\|time stream\|media communication model on the basis of FEC and ARQ. It also describes the communication process and realizes some algorithms of the relational communication protocols. Based on simulation, it has reached remarkable improvement in several aspects such as the quality of real time, the using rate of network bandwidth and the feedback implosion controlling.
