The basic thought of case grammar is as follows: deep structure of natural language is verb-centered and verbs' arguments are bored by nouns whichpossess various case characters around them.Language expressions, accordingly, can be divided into central component and non-central component. From the perspective of case grammar which favors polychotomy, syntactic functions of verbs change with the number of nominal composition.Verb- centered thought is embedded in Chinese. It is convenient to use polychotomy to analyze phenomena of double- object sentence and sentences with multiple prepositional phrases which appear before or after the verbs.Lots of nouns in Chinese which bear optional cases may change the grammatical functions of verbs. The abstraction of case grammar in the way of categorical grammar results in a new system of Categorical Type Logic( CTL) in which the division of central component and non- central component requires products to fall into the category of left product or right product. In the analytical mode of polychotomy, the argument of functor and product is plural.Change of the verb's grammatical function leads to the increase of argument for the category of functor. The accessibility of frame semantics in CTL is not unitary.Soundness and completeness of the system can be proved if a semantic model based on such frame can be constructed.
