Factor spaces and factor data-bases

According to the applications of existing information systems theory and formal concept in database, this paper proposed a concept factor data-base which is a new database based on the theory of Factor Space, then introduced its own specific process on how to use factor data-bases to do feature partition and the concept lattice forming. Some polynomial algorithms are presented for extracting the concept lattice from concept analysis table.The results indicate that the theory of Factor Space is a natural and effective approach for KDD performing knowledge discovering and concept generation. Factor data-base is an application of the mathematical theory of Factor Space in the database, which can enrich and expand the functions of database in information processing.
