SQLST:A Query Language for Spatiotemporal Database

A query language for spatiotemporal database is presented, which is named SQLST and SQL-compatible. The extended data types and operations of SQLST are discussed, as well as the SQLST-based spatiotemporal queries. It is also proved that SQLST is relational complete. SQLST is designed for the spatiotemporal data model STORM, but it can also be a reference for spatiotemporal extension to SQL.
