A Simplified Method for Calculating Soft Information in MIMO Signal Detection

Iterative receiving technique for coded Multiple Input and Multi Output(MIMO) systems,which is analyzed in this paper, is very promising in spectrum efficiency and performance.In order to implement it by hardware,a method of simplification for calculating soft information in MIMO signal detection is proposed.Simulation results show that performances of decoding suffer little from the simplified scheme.
