A UDDI-based service broker is proposed to solve the problem that the universal description, discovery and integration (UDDI) registry does not provide quality of service information registration and discovery. UDDIWSBroker is an extension to UDDIre- gistry which supports the quality of the web service (QoS). According to the dynamic changing characteristics of quality of service in- formation, UDDIWSBroker provides a web services monitoring agent to monitor and update the quality of the web Service automatically. And a mechanism of service subscription and notification is also provided, which makes users know the changes in time.
