A Novel Direction Finding of LPI Signals

Direction finding of low probability intercept(LPI) signals is the difficult problem in modern EW system.The direction can be estimated by utilizing the time difference of arrival(TDOA) from a two-channel digital receiver which is hided in the phase of the time domain filtered cross spectral density(TDFCSD).This method is improved and a novel direction finding of LPI signals based on average time domain filtered cross spectral density(ATDFCSD) is proposed.The influence factor of the error is analyzed and simulations prove that the new method has high performance.
