Animal Models of Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a common chronic relapsing disease associated with profound impaired quality of life. Until now,the fundamental pathophysiology of the disease still has not been fully elucidated. The establishment of appropriate animal models of psoriasis will be helpful to reveal the genetic background and pathogenesis of this disease,and can promote the development of new drugs. Recently,many scientists have been working a lot on researches in the field. This review summarized the recent findings about animal models of psoriasis.
