Analysis of the determination methods of the state of charge of lead-acid batteries

Lead-acid battery has a history of more than 150 years.In the past it is mainly used as stationary power and starting battery,but now it has attracted more attention because of its application in electric bicycles and integrated solar-wind power station.In later case the determination and evaluation of state of charge(SOC) of lead-acid battery is of significance.In such research field the related techniques/methods of more than 10 have been proposed.In this article the techniques/methods determining SOC have been reviewed and compared.
