Operation Principle,Malfunction Diagnosis and Malfunction Prevention of Segment Erectors of Shield Machines

In order to solve the problems such as rotation of segment erector in only one direction,no reaction of vacuum electro-magnetic valves,no withdraw of the boom cylinder of segment erector and no simultaneous withdraw of the telescopic arms of segment erector,solutions and prevention measures are proposed,with the operation of the segment erector of a shield machine for a Yangtze River crossing tunnel as an example.Analysis is made on the malfunctions and experience is summarized.In the end,the working efficiency of the segment erector is improved and the construction schedule is guaranteed.
