SPOKEN DIGITS RECOGNITION USING WAVE-LENGTH TECHNIQUE
Christian Trisno Sen Long Chen, Ong J, Tiantian Wang · Chinese Journal of Computers · 1980
A wavelength method for speech recognition is described in this paper. In this method, the sequences of wavelength are extracted from the preprocessed zero-crossing waves of sound signals and the features of their distribution are analyzed. Experiments have been performed on Computer 109 and Computer 111, the correct recognition rate of 10 spoken Chinese digits is about 98.7% for a specific speaker. The principle of recognition and the processing method are also presented.
