Application of PLC to ring gate control system for Xiaolangdi Hydropower Station

The ring gate system of Xiaolangdi Hydropower Station is provided by VOITH Company. It plays an important role in water turbine. Especially in the Yellow River basin, the advantage of using ring gate is more obvious. This article emphatically introduces the application of PLC in ring gate control system and BTA -D11 position measuring system, including their functions, structure and characteristics.
