Documents of ship design is complicated and various.Analysis the features of document and structure frame of PDM to achieve document management.Based on the further development of Windchill software,items of documents management are researched such as setting forms,edition management and workflow.So it realizes the electronic store and workflow of ship design documents and improve the efficiency of document consulting and design process and then improves the efficiency of ship design.
