Study on Specification-based Software Component Test Technology

Currently component and component-based software engineering are gained substantial interest in software engineering community.Although there are many published articles addressing the issues in building component,very few of them address the problems and challenges in testing component.The standard function testing is often used in interface testing of component.The component specification brought forward in the paper contains component interface′s syntax,semantics and interaction,which is necessary in order to fully use the component and understand its behavior.Putting forward function test method generating test cases by changing the specification of tested software into testing model.
