Discussion on digital earth platform and the technology architecture of digital China

This paper analyzes and summarizes the four characteristics of Google and its development and impact to earth science research,discusses the enlightenment from Google in the development process of Digital Earth and Digital China.Three concepts,Digital Platform(DEP), Digital China Marked Language(DCML),Geo-information Browser / Spatial Information Server(G / S),are brought forward.Finally,the paper analyzes the principle should be adhered to the Digital China technical architecture and the foreground of Digital China construction and application.
