On the Four Viewpoints of the Authorship of Jin Ping Mei

There have been four viewpoints about the authorship of Jin Ping Met, a Ming Dynasty novel. The views of Xiao Ming-feng and Li Pan-long about the authorship have five questionable points, because their reasons are not based on factual evidence but are based on imagination. And the views of Hu Zhong and Ding Wei-ning committ a vital error in the interpretation of the key material which results in the complete mistake, hence cannot be trusted. In terms of individual writing, the study of the authorship has made fewer substantial achievements in the 1990's than it did in the 1980's.
