Design and Implementation of a Virtual Operation System for Beautifying Lady'S Face

We have developed a virtual operation system for beautifying lady抯 face, which is called as ByuPAQ. By using it, a lady can see her beautified-face image in advance to decide how to apply the surgical operation to her face. A lady抯 face picture is firstly inputted into the system ByuPAQ, then some operations provided by the system ByuPAQ are applied to it interactively, and finally the beautified-face image will be displayed. In this paper, we firstly introduce the architecture of the ByuPAQ, and then we show the principles of designing the system ByuPAQ and describe two key algorithms. One is image deformation algorithm, and the other is image shading algorithm. At last some examples resulted from the system ByuPAQ are shown.
