On-Machine Measurement Software Development Based on Selection Mode of OpenGL

Validating the precision of STL model to ensure that it has the required accuracy to transpose the geometric data, this paper solves the problem of compatibility between On-machine Measuring Software and some other CAD software. And then it proposes that taking the pointer value of measuring object as the name of picking object and it has proved that it settles object name for the demand of integer and unique. Finally based on the technology of picking module of OpenGL, this paper completes the picking function for an On-machine Measuring Software.
