High-yield Cultivation Measures of Inter-planting Between Corn and Marigold
Ma Chong · Agricultural Science&Technology and Equipment · 2009
A study was conducted on the high-yield cultivation measures of inter-planting between Marigold and maize. The result shows that the inter-planting can increase the number of trees planted and corn planting density with better ventilation and light transmission, hence, increasing the effectiveness of photosynthesis. This practice can increase maize production on the condition that Marigold production is not reduced, raising land use efficiency and output capacity, which in turn improves production and economic returns.
