Construction and Application of PC Cluster Parallel Environment Based On LINUX Platform

This paper introduce a kind of high performance parallel environment : cluster of PCs, presents the constructing method of it from hardware platform and software environment two aspects, and then gives an application example of parallel computing using Message Passing Interface(MPI).Actual application applies, using PC Cluster has many merits in parallel computing, such as little risk investment ,low computing costs ,excellent expansibility ,short developing period , easy programming and so on .So we can use PC Cluster to make scientific computing that need huge amount data and high speed.
