The influence of BCG reagent formula on the linearity in determination of serum albumin with biochemical analyzer.

Objective To explore the the influence of bromocresol green (BCG)reagent formula on the linearity in determination of serum albumin using biochemical ana-lyzer.Method Seven BCG reagents with different concentrations of BCG and Brij-35were used to determine5serum albumin levels (20.0～60.0g /L)with biochemical analyzer.The outcomes were evaluated by NCCLS linearity evaluation rule.Results As Brij-35:BCG was11.4:1,enhancing BCG concentration from0.05g /L to0.158g /L,the linear regres-sion equation slope went up from0.765to0.992,the intercept descended from8.06to0.12and the linearity became will(FF 0.05 ),opposing to unacceptal(FF 0.01 ),Enhancing the value of Brij-35:BCG,the slope descended,intercept went up and F increased.Conclusion On biochemical analyzer,when the value of reagent:sample is100:1,we suggest to use BCG reagent with BCG0.158g /L and Brij-351.8g /L.
