Detecting and Tolerating Value Faults in Fault-tolerant CORBA

This paper introduces the basic fault-tolerance mechanism in CORBA, and describes how value faults are detected and tolerated using the majority voting. Finally, the adaptive majority voting and its implementation based on virtual synchrony are presented.
