A distributed computerized monitoring and control system of sluice is designed based on Siemens CPU226 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The dual free port communication is utilized skillfully in the control system, and the fieldbus protocol is designed suitably to optimize the hardware configuration, so the fieldbus control network is established economically. The upper computer's software also provides self-emendation function for the sluice flow computing formula.
