Philosophical Reflections on Computation

The notion of computation is undoubtedly one of the very influential notions of our time.However,we have not been in agreement about what computation on earth is.This paper,based on the analyses of generalization and different construals of computation,suggests and argues computation as being information-processing,and also discusses the Church-Turing thesis and pan-computationalism from a information-processing point of view.
